Greetings to all Members of SAM104 and to all who are reading this!

WOW!  A year has gone by since I was elected as President of SAM104.  As they say, “Time flies when you are having fun” and boy have I had fun. 

I set a few goals when I became President, some were attained and some are still in the works.  I did manage to start an archive of materials and possessions of SAM104.  Several people have brought back to the group things in their care that they have been holding for the group, and some have donated personal belongings that they feel belong in our archives.  We hope to have a small room in the church where we meet where we can store everything and make it available for viewing.  I’m still looking for stuff and accepting donations, if you have anything let me know!

I never cease to be amazed by the members of SAM104.  I just mention a need for help and someone steps up, takes the ball and runs with it.  We have an amazing group of people with a great diversity of talent!  THANK YOU! 

We have had some great lectures this year, and SAMCON was a great success.  Unfortunately, as most of you know, I was in on all the planning, but missed it due to illness!  :o(     One of my favorite nights (and apparently a member’s favorite as well) was Member’s Performance and Sharing night.  It was so popular we decided to have a second one! 

Most important to me is the friendships I have built while a member of SAM104.  It is really special to be able to spend time with people you like, doing something you love.

It has been my pleasure to serve as President of SAM104 during the last year, and I look forward to serving again this year!
